There are many manufacturing and warehousing facilities in the nearby high desert employing thousands of workers. There is not much manufacturing in Lucerne Valley. There are some small (home based) shops building custom furniture and cabinets, handmade leather sandals, brooms, firewood holders, saddle and tack holders, handmade glass items, custom saddle and leather works.

There is room here for major manufacturing but this community is very concerned about quality of life and pollution so any future manufacturing will have to conform to our strict area regulations.
